All the time!
I think I was incredibly selfish to bring 3 children in to this world. I would just die if anything awful ever happened to them. I love them so much...I am honestly BLESSED to have 3 great kids. I don't know what I did to deserve such wonderful children. But, I am scared for them.
You are NOT the only one.

When you say terrible world, do you mean Britain, with all the stabbings i am reading in the newspaper at the moment it is very scary, I am British, but fortunately i live in Greece and bring my children up here, where i don't hear much about this violence or the other things mentioned. But who knows how that will change in time.

I used to think that way, before I met my husband. Then everything changed somehow. After I met him I knew that I wanted to marry him, have children and spend the rest of my life with him and our family. I try to teach my children about the wonders of the world we live in. How there is beauty in almost every person, every culture & religious belief. Not only the beauty of the world around us. There is a lot of good in this world if you look for it. You can't let the evil win....or in.

I totally agree with you, and also how bad is Britain? The schooling, the teenage abso yobs, the job prospects, buying a house, illegal immegrants galore! what will britain be like in 20 years time? i srtongly suggest that if a couple with a young family have the means, they should go and bring their children up in new Zealand or Austrailia, or maybe even somewhere else in Europe.........but not here!

Children are Gods Gift of Love to us. WE cannot change the World but we can make a difference, starting in your own home. Don't let others get you down, just do the best you can.

Oh yes. I ask the same question myself. I constantly worry about my kids when they're out and i worry for them when they grow up. Luckily we live in quite a rural area but still the threat is always there. I'd hate to bring them up in a city. God forbid!!

What a daft question, Why should we not bring children into the world ? they have as much reason to be as you, I or anyone else. The people who shouldn't be here, are the paedophiles, murderers, and thieves.

There IS also good and beauty, joy, and love to be found here as well. Those are the reasons I brought my children into the world.
