I have been reading these books devoutly and was just curious if other people out there are as nutty about them as I am. Also for those who do love the series the last book 'Kingdom Come' hits bookshelves April 3rd! If you are nutty about these books like me tell me about it. Did it work in your life? did they lift you up? Did they help you or inspire you to make positive changes in your life? Please tell!

I read the entire series and also listened to them to and from work on CD. The happened upon e at a time in my life when I really needed something promising about the afterlife, the trib, the rapture etc. My brother who was 33 was killed in a car accident on New Years eve 2004, he left behind a beautiful wife a four precious little girls, ages 6,5,2 and 10 months at the time. I felt like my whole world had ended and I went into such a deep depression. His widow was a very religious person and she started talking to me about the rapture and i became so interested. I became obssessed with the series. Did it have a profound affect on me? Yes & No. it got me throught thay cruial time in my llife and I rededicated my life to Christ, but i am aware that I continue to sin everyday. There is no way tht I can live a life free of sin. I am confused, because although i kow jesus died for our sins and all we have to do os ask to be forgiven, what I dont get is how to we continue to be forgiven if we continue to sin.

I used to be obsessed with them! Then there got to be such long breaks inbetween the books that I sort of lost interest in finding out when the new ones were coming out. Plus, I found myself rereading them before the release of each new one because I had forgotten key details. Now that the last one is finally coming out I am definitely going to pick them up again and read the whole series! Hooray!

I can't say reading the series caused me to sway one way or another with my spirituality, but it's nice to see someone decide to live better because of them. I'm sure that's what the authors wanted.

I can't say they're the most well written of books that I've read, but the plot lines are quite fascinating.
