I would write a very stiff letter to the managing director of Easyjet and tell them in no uncertain terms how upset you were. I would demand an apology, not only from the company, but from the very rude steward. I would definitely bring this to the attention of Easyjet in no uncertain terms.

First, I am sorry you had to go through this. I am also quite heavy and did not 'look' the typical pregnant until about 8 months.
Find a customer service line for easyjet and ask if there are weight restrictions on the planes and if the stewards can refuse boarding when you have a ticket. Get an answer to that and then IF THERE ARE RESTRICTIONS ask how this applies when you are pregnant. Once you have this info, lodge a complaint since you are pregnant and the stewards almost refused you passage. BE SURE TO GET NAMES when on the phone.
The only thing I have heard of was a person was charged for 2 seats since they could not fit into a single seat. I have not heard of a person being refused a flight (but anything is possible).

It's the same old story, overweight people being made into targets by narrow minded gimps!
This is just typical of todays views; because you are overweight you have to be sitting on your **** all day gorging on gunk food and crap, of course this has to be the case, it couldn't be anything else.
You should get an apology but you won't get one. If I were you I would have kicked up a fuss at the time, again this might not have done allot but at least your pride would still be in tact.
When are people going to open their eyes and try to understand that not all overweight people constantly eat 24-7 and the ones that do are mostly stuck in a vicious circle made worse by all the comments they have to put up with, why can't people help these unfortunates instead of making the situation worse.
Also don't listen to the people on here (or anywhere) who think pregnant overweight people are a drain on NHS and are not going to make good mothers, these narrow minded views are total crap.
I wish you all the luck in your pregnancy.

I'm sorry you're so upset. What you really need to do is explain exactly what happened- what was exactly was said or done to you that caused you distress? Remember the person receiving the complaint has no idea what happened. Personally I would look on the Easy Jet website and find an address to write to them, and put my complaint in writing. I would follow my letter up with a phone call a few days later- contact numbers ought to be on the site too.
Remember to make your account of the events as coherent and clear as possible- give the date, and the time and the flight number then outline exactly what happened.
All the best.

Jesus H Christ! Hell yeah, you should get an apology! We are so quick to judge people who are overweight without finding out the bigger pic. For all they knew, you could have had a health prob which is why you might be overweight, not that its any of their business, but just cause someone is bigger, doesnt mena its due to food, it could be a health problem such as thyroid probs ect. I think you should say this when complaining as they seem to have a lack of education. I mean, look at Stavros, the founder of easy jet, he isnt exactly the tinyiest of people! Im sure he wopuldnt appreciate any discrimination against him for how he looks! Go to town on them girl and go with a vengence!

That's quite unbelievable because Easyjet allow you to fly up until you are 36 weeks!
You can try complaining, but my experience with Easyjet is that they don't apologise for anything, and they would probably say their staff have a duty to check.
Fly with a better airline in future where they will treat you with a bit more respect!

When you get home you should write to easyjet and tell them what happened. They ought to apologise to you.
Why were the stewards asking you personal questions anyway? You definitely ought to say something as you need not put up with being treated like shite ... even if you did fly with a crappy airline!

Firstly, you shouldn't expect an apology, easyjet dont apologise for anything! Secondly, why should they apologise for doing their job, its not their fault that you are everweight, and lastly, it sounds to me as though you are the one who has a problem with you being overweight, and it was just luck that you took a pregnancy test and it was positive result, that way you can tell people you are pregnant and they will put your weight down to that, instead of them thinking that you are just fat. I wouldn't bother complaining, probably just a waste of time! Sorry
