How i get my moms alero oil light to turn off!!

If you do not have an oil change reset button located on the drivers side inside the fuse panel. Turn ignition key to the on position (with engine off). Depress accelerator pedal 3 times. Oil change light should blink and you should here a beep, light will go out. Turn ignition key off.

change the sending unit,and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, for more than ten seconds.

See a mechanic it may be pressure is wrong..
