you need help.i'm 15 and know that at this age we want to be thin.i used to do what you're doing i would skip meals for two days on a row.i would just drink water or some diet soda.it got to a point were at the age of 13 i only weighed 56 lbs.i could barely walk.then my friends decided enough was enough and they practically crammed food down my throat when in school at home my family would cook tons of things and tried to make me eat.it was really hard to gain weight and i felt fat but then i saw all of my friends and noticed how great they looked and they weren't starving themselves look for help Diana don't let it get to far the skinnier you get the harder it's going to get to gain weight.start eating 3 times a day.if you don't want to get fat eat frits and vegetables actually you can eat practicallu anything and not gain to much weight if you eat small quantities.i wish you the best of luck and gain weight girl you will feel better and probably look better too.

You didn't say how much you weigh, but if you're only eating 5 times a week, you're not getting enough nutrition. You need fat in your diet to make the hormones that control the reproductive system. You sound like you could have an eating disorder. Talk to your mom and she will help you with this. Your period will return when you start getting enough to eat again.

Excessive physical activity can cause your period to stop temporarily. Professional athletes like gymnasts often stop having periods. Again, let your mom and probably your doctor help you with this before it gets too late. People die from eating disorders. Good luck with this.

Diana
You do have a disorder. You need to confine in someone(an adult), honey. The amount that you are eating is taking a bad toll on your body. This is just a sign that your body can't continue to function with the amount that you are eating. Even if you don't feel hungry, try eating some soup or something light. This can effect your all body including your heart. Please get some help from someone now. I'll be praying for you.

Diana,

Please, sweetie, talk to your parents and get some help. Yes, it looks as if you have an eating disorder, and you need to get help very, very soon. Not only can this affect your period, it will negatively impact all your organs. Eating disorders can result in death. You have so much of your life ahead. Please, talk to your parents. If, for some reason, you feel that you can't talk to your parents, talk to a school counselor, a minister, SOMEONE. Please? I wish you well.

Weight gain or loss can definitly have effects on your menstral cycles. Also, nutrition can effect it. It is not normal to only eat 5 times per week nor is it healthy. You need to be checked out by a doctor.

You should be eating 5 times a DAY not 5 times a week.
I think you need to talk to a doctor- something is wrong.
