Sex change or sex reassignment surgery is at the end of a long, multiyear process. You don't and can't just get to it unless you go to some hack in another country.

If you believe you are born of the wrong gender with a condition called gender dysphoria, you start the reconciliation process with your doctor. From there, your mental health and mental state of being will be scrutinized to make sure you are indeed such. There will be a lot of hard choices and life changing decisions you have to make, each with counseling and support. It's a permanent and life-altering change. So they are going to take it slow and be as sure as they can that is if fact what you want and what should happen. Somewhere along the line during all of this, assuming that the doctors agree with you, you start hormone treatments. Then you live your life as a member of the opposite gender for some length of time to make sure that you are able to do so. Only after all of that will you get authorized for sex reassignment surgery.

Go to a doctor and ask for a referrel to a psychiatrist. It's a long process - and many people regret it once they've done it. So you have to go through therapy.

Therapy.

Before any gender reassignment surgery, you will have to complete medical questionnaires and undergo extensive sessions with a therapist, who will determine if you are a good candidate for surgery.
