ooooh, GOOD THEORY! I hope that's true, I was so sad when Dumbledore died. Perhaps Snape didn't kill Harry because the only person that can kill Harry is Voldemort? Killing him would have destroyed the prophecy...either one has to be killed by the hand of the other.

If you analyze the AK scene, it is described much differently than that of any other JKR has written (ie: no flashing green light and DB was thrown off the tower by the curse when no other victims experienced the same). DB is skilled at performing spells silently and/or without his wand... so it appears that there was something else happening. Although it has been confirmed by JKR that DB is no longer "alive," he will remain to have a signifigant role in DH. 07-21-2007 cannont come fast enough!

While I definitely agree that Snape is not actually evil, J. K. Rowling has personally confirmed that Dumbledore is completely dead.

In spite of the elaborate service for Dumbledore I was never convinced he was actually dead. I like your theory and I can hardly wait till July to find out for sure!
