I didn't see where she was given a lottery ticket. Was it the guy who always went in to the grocery store and bought the lottery ticket that killed her?

yes. she won 25 dollars and she went to give the man his share but he thought she was ripping him off. he thought the ticket was worth a million dollars. he wasn't of sound mind. it was a sad episode. made me cry as do most of the cold case episodes.

It was the bum who gave the mom the lottery ticket. She won $25 bucks and took half to him. He thought she won the million and was keeping it all for herself. He found the gun in her car and shot her. At the very end the sisters were reunited.

the homeless guy, they bought a lotto ticket together, won 25 dollars, he thought it was a "millions" and she was cheating him, the two daughters met up again and are going to try
