daisy,
When I first felt my baby move inside, I thought I was going to throw up. Then I felt it all the next day and felt sick all day. I felt like such a bad mommy! But, after just about a week of having that "going over the hill in the car" feeling, It got to be very normal. I think it is more intense at the beginning because it's such a new feeling and you're not prepared -- it pretty much came by surprise for me.
What an exciting time! Congrats!

Congrats!!! Those first movements are awesome!! The first few times I feel a baby move sometimes makes me queasy too, kinda like the feeling you get on a roller coaster, only to a lesser degree. It will go away as the baby grows more. And as your baby gets bigger, the movements will become stronger and stronger. It's so neat to feel the first movements! I'm so excited for you!! Just remember that there may be days you don't feel it at all. This is normal, so don't freak out. I'll be 20 weeks tomorrow (half way!!!) and my baby is getting really active and kicking a lot now. There were times at first when I was worried because I didn't feel any movement for a day or so. Even though I know it's normal, it still worried me!! So it's normal to worry about not feeling movement. Anyway, good luck and congrats again!! This is an awesome time, enjoy it and don't worry!!

Congrats! Them first movements are always so exciting! You probably just need to get used to these new feelings! Pretty soon they'll be hard kicks and that definitely won't make you queezy.......lol! Good Luck! Congrats!

Oh, how fun it is to feel your child move inside you the first time! Yay for you :) Yea, it feels a little funny at first... mine sometimes felt like gas, LOL. But as they get bigger they will start kicking and punching harder. It won't feel queasy then:) There's nothing in the world that compares, though! Enjoy it!

Give it a week or so, you will get used to it, and the baby will get bigger and the kicks will be stronger so that they are not feathering like that. It made my stomach roll until about 25 weeks or so, and then they almost became background to me. Congratulations!

It will take a little while, but you will get used to the new sensations and feelings.

I think it might be a little wierd to get used to..Think about it something is living inside of you...it can take a while to get used to it.
