With my first girl, it was about 13 weeks. My second, 15 weeks and this one, 16-17 weeks. It all just depends on the woman. Most first time moms don't feel it until around 20 weeks or so. Sometimes longer, sometimes sooner. It all just depends. The baby is so little at 16-17 weeks that the movements are very small and sometimes hard to notice. Women who have had kids before kinda know what it feels like, so they notice it more then first time moms, but that doesn't mean that we for sure know it's the baby!! The first couple of times I felt this one, I still thought it was gas, or digestion things. So even us "old hats" can mistake it for something else. Don't worry that you aren't feeling much movement. The first movements can be sporatic at best, and sometimes there will be days when you don't feel it at all. Don't worry on those days, it's normal. It all depends on the position the baby is in, and how you are positioned too. If you don't feel it for a day or so, drink or eat something sweet like fruit or fruit juice and lay on your left side for about a half hour. You should feel little movements due to the sugar in the juice. By the time you get to about 23-24 weeks, there will be no mistaking it as baby. And before long, you will wish for the times when it soft movement and little bumps instead of punches and kicks to your organs and bladder!! It's still fun at that point, don't get me wrong, but the kicks and punches get a lot stronger and you will wonder if you have gone to the movies alien instead of your own body. Just enjoy this time!! It's so fun huh? Congrats on the baby moving by the way!! So much fun!!

I felt one kick at 18 weeks. A week later, I started feeling him kick me every few days or so.
The movement is getting more perspectible, but's still not to the point where I can 'count kicks' or routinely feel movement.

My first two babies I felt at 15weeks 4 days pregnant (weird I know!!) which is pretty early but it was definately baby kicks, because I kept feeling them from that day on & they kept getting stronger.
I'm pregnant with my 3rd and I didn't feel her until 19 weeks but she's smaller than either of my first two, or at least seems to be and that might explain it.
