I went without a period for 1 1/2 years being only 20 this was not normal for me. My periods have always been irregular and ranged from 1-4 months or so but this was by far NOT NORMAL..So i went to my doctors she tested my prolactin levels, thyroid( found that i had a slight hyperthyroid but not enough for treatment) liver/ kidney function, LH and FSH levels ect and everything was in the normal range if not in perfect working conditions, so she tried progesterone challenge on me 10mg for 7 days to see if it would induce my period and it did, so then she suggested i use a natural progesterone cream for 10 days starting from day 14 of my cycle well I had too regular periods since using the cream, but I am now 1 week late on my period and experiencing slight tender breasts, light cramping here and their, had some very light light brown spotting for about 2 days when my period should have came but that us about it..
have you ever went without, gotten pregnant when you started up again??

Periods can come anywhere from 21-30 days, so being a few days "late" really isn't late at all. Wait another week. If it doesn't come, get a pregnancy test if you're sexually active.

If you're spotting, you're not pregnant. You might just be getting antsy and impatient; your period is probably coming in a few days. You're a week late, but you've had irregular periods before, maybe you've become immune to the medicine. Maybe you should give the lady a call and tell her what's going on... or look up the medication on WebMD to see if that is one of the side effects.

Well, until a few years ago, I went a 5 year stint without a period. I had some vitamin and mineral deficiencies and some other health problems. I unfortunately used the logic that if I wasn't having my period, then I couldn't get pregnant. I didn't suspect it until I was 13 weeks along, and I miscarried at 16 weeks.
If you suspect something, get tested right away. It could save your baby's life!

I think you should get a pregnancy test or 2 and be sure, if you aren't happy with that then go se eyour doctor about it. I am a little concerned your a week late.. so I'd sitll go to see her..but I know what it's like ot go back and forth to your doctor (not for this problem but othrs) but if you are late and you dont think it's from the problem before and you are sleeping with someone I would get a few pregnancy kits... and still see my doctor if your late...

Well i didnt happen to me cause im still a young lady. But many women did get pregnant after having sexual intercours.
