They can. Everyone is different, so some do and some don't.

Yes, they can ... your breasts are 'changing' and getting ready to be 'full of milk' to feed the 'new baby' when it comes ... and you should be 'extra vigilant' about doing 'self-breast exams' every two weeks while you are 'pregnant' and also while you are 'nursing' because you can get 'clogged milk ducts' that can be EXTREMELY PAINFUL if it's not 'caught' right away ... and if your breasts seem to be 'aching' too much, then try 'warming them' with a hot damp towel or a 'damp towel' with a hot water bottle or a 'wet' heating pad ... the heat will help that 'ache' and ease it enough for you to 'feel better' ...

Yes this is your Milk coming in. What you can do is put a warm (Not hot) warm compress on them for a few mins or take a warm shower and let the water run on them. Be prepared that you might leak if your far enough. I remember that mine would hurt when i hear a child crying. Oh if they are hurting and tender to touch and feel hot and feverish you need to call you doctor this could be an infection.

Absolutely!!! Trying wearing a sports bra to bed to provide around the clock support - it really helps. The reason for this is hormonal changes during pregnancy cause increased blood flow and changes in the breast tissue

Yes, they can. Its from the hormone fluctuation. However, aching breasts (even for the first time) are not a sure sign of pregnancy (and, you can be pregnant and not have tender breasts, either) It can simply be an indication of your menses starting soon.

Sometimes. A lot of women say they have really bad breast tenderness. It's all caused by hormones and usually after the first trimester, it will go away.
