I have tried to install a Epson Stylus Color 400 printer to my new pc. It prints out in colour ok but will not print in black. I have installed new cartridges twice! but still get the same problem. This printer worked fine on my old pc. I am using Windows XP and my printer driver was not designed for XP.
Epson gave me instructions on how to install and I followed these instructions. How do I uninstall this printer as when I look in Install/Uninstall I can find no reference to this printer. I am going to throw the thing away and buy a new printer but I dont want any reference to this piece of junk left on my pc

as for as me u no need to buy a new one since u can make it this to work properly u can find the printer in control panel then you can uninstal it if not available that option then do one thing on ur printer and remove ur cadridge and off it and then onc again on it and fix ur cadridge it will ask whether its old or new select the required option and it will ask for to print test page print that test page and see else if u want to uninstall then put the cd which is given by him u can find uninmstal option else instal again where it is in previous location and try to remove it ok.

Go into Control Panel, select Printers and Faxes, right click on the printer and from the drop down box select delete.
