i've been to a gay gym (with private rooms) but never to a gay bar. what's it like?

fun, the dance music is awsome, the people are fun and friendly, some have drag and strip shows, contests like wet underwear

I'm a girl and I actually have more fun at gay bars than I do at straight bars. They play great dance music and everyone just has a great time.

Gay internet cafes are ok...you can read, surf and write emails to Dad..asking how he feels and stuff like that. No drama. Just relaxing and convenient.

Go to one and find out. Please tell me you don't buy into all the stereotypes and generalizations. Instead of hearing about what it's like, do some research for yourself, you may be surprised at how mundane most of them are.
