Nah, he's not overrated. I've never heard anyone brag about how dominating he is. Maybe you don't know what overrated means? I don't think Chad Henne is all that good of a QB, the defense made that team, Chad played the "don't lose the game for us" role...if people used his name in the same breath as J'Marcus Russell or Brady Quinn, then he'd be overrated.

First of all, to be overrated there has to be a hype or strong conversation about the player. The only thing that is strong for Henne is he is coming into his last year as a starter. No one hypes about him and no one really complains. He actually is very consistent, posting up very good numbers, and he do the job that is required of him. Overrated will belong to Brady Quinn or Jamarcus Russel, Calvin Johnson or Marshaun Lynch. These are big names, Chad Henne is silent. Don't ask an "overrated" question when there is no hype about the person.
If you look at it that he is 0-3 against Ohio State and 0-3 in bowl games, then Hart must be overrated, but he is not. Jake Long must be overrated, actually the entire University of Michigan must be overrated. And we should all know that the school with the most wins in NCAA history, the most conference and national titles in NCAA history, one of two teams with a winning record against all 1-A conferences, the most wins in conference play (more than any other team in any other conference), the highest all-time strength of schedule, the highest winning percentage in NCAA, and well are part of one of, if not, the largest rival in all of sports. If you say they are overrated, I don't see how they can be with a resume like that.,

Michigan has produced the main NFL QBs in the previous 15 years. Henne would be yet another. The bowl video games he misplaced. Texas in Rose, went directly to be national Champs. USC, went directly to be national Champs. The Alamo Bowl the team sucked, yet look at Hennes numbers. comparable with the different video games. He can no longer do eveything. Tom Brady have been given the comparable BS while he replace into at MICH, look at him now. The loses to OSU..howdy look on the communities they have had. This 12 months he will answer the critics. he's a "genuine" pocket passer, so without risk-free practices..aka USC interest he will conflict. besides the fact that if look lower back on the stats aganist USC and you will discover Henne replace into no longer the subject. The offensive line and Hart have been. As to the guy pointing out that without Hart, Henne is a no person. call some QB's that are great that have not got a sturdy working lower back. the two bypass hand in hand.

chad henne isn't necessarily overrated, michigan has always been a run first team, as most teams are in the big ten. only one other starter in the big ten had a higher completion rate, troy smith, and only two had higher qb ratings, smith and stocco. and the only way michigans offensive game plan can work effectively is if the running back nets 100+ yards.

He is. To be honest, a lot of Michigan QB's are overrated. They get a lot of love because of their constant and solid defense and they are almost always run oriented. But either way, yes Henne is overrated and probably won't do very well in the NFL.
We'll see him in the Arena League in a few years....
