Sorry, I probably don't understand the question - the photosphere is the part of the sun that we can see. The sun's angular size varies between 31.6 and 32.7 arc minutes, depending where Earth is in its orbit.

The so-called photosphere of the sun, or the corona when observed during a total solar eclipse, can't really be measured in angles, I don't think.

I think the same lines of observable radiation indicates that such rays eminate from the sun equally from all points of the sun's surface (with the exception of sun spots, where the light is absorbed rather than emitted).

So, I don't think the photosphere can even begin to be measured in angles.

I might be wrong, though.
