No, my best questions come up when I'm driving home from work. Then, I have to write them down while I drive or hope I remember them. My best answers come in the afternoons, when I know I'm about to go home for the day.
When I was writing stories, I used to sit in bars and get a lot of my characters from there (it's amazing what you can see when you watch people .. especially when they are drunk)
