Do you ever ask a question for a specific person...?

I've asked a Q with the intention of getting a specific persons attention but I tried to make it seem like a "generic" Q cuz that would b chatting otherwise.

No, that would be chatting. You can have someone in mind when you ask, but it needs to benefit the entire P&S community.
