I'm doing an essay about mistakes and how most people don't like to admit them--- and I'm half way through but I was wondering if anyone has any examples about common mistakes we humans make -- and how it makes a difference in our lives for the better.

Have any ideas?

wisdom is derived from mistakes. mistakes made by oneself, or by those around us. life is trial and error, its all about making mistakes, correcting them, learning from them, and then passing advice onto the next person so that they dont do the same thing and the human race can further itself. this is a nice theory on paper, but in all actuality, most people are the type that need to experience something first hand before they can truely learn a lesson, so many times, the advice system doesnt work. oh well

People learn most from their mistakes. If they pay attention to them, they know what to do (or not do) so that they don't happen again. Sometimes, the mistakes turn out better than the original plan, just look at some of the earlier advances in the science field, some of those were mistakes which turned out better than the original plan.

We continually make mistakes from the time we begin to think for ourselves, therefore making our future experience of life better. However, if we are smart we will also listen to our family members and don`t do things that will harm us. One mistake I will never make again is calling my husband by my ex-boyfriends name, result = a much happier marriage.
