I have a bachelor's degree in psychology. I am looking to get a master's degree in a field that has flexible scheduling so that someday if/when I have kids, I can work part-time. I would also like to make a decent salary... I'm certainly not expecting to be rich, but something that isn't low-paying would be nice. Does anyone have any ideas...?

Thanks!

Childcare...you can start out doing it in your own home if you wish and then progress into your own center. You can pretty much be your own boss and it pays very good. In the future when you do have kids you'll have the luxury of spending quality time with your child while doing your job. If you have your own center, you do the hiring and decide your own hours. Ofcourse you have to have the patience and love for children. Good Luck!

I am a beauticontrol distributor and I think that might be a good thing to look into! You have flexible time schedules and the profit can be 30-75%. It might take a little work to get started, but once started, (a few weeks) you will be well on your way. The income level can be quite lucrative and the great thing is that you don't have to be a sales person. Trust me when I say that all you are doing is sharing what you know. All women love skin products, spa yummies and make up. I'd be happy to talk with you more if you find yourself interested.

You could be a social worker. They have flexible schedules as they can schedule their patients when they want, but the pay is terrible. Other than that, I can't think of much you can do with a physc degree, they are a dime a dozen.

A Master's (or, better, a PhD) is psychology (or social work) is an excellent field for this. If you want to be a therapist/councilor, you can set your own hours and make reasonable money.

You can also write, run an advice column, or provide consulting services.
