My finger won't fit into the outlet directly, but from experience, having touched a 'hot' wire, it kind of tingles, itis not pleasant, and is similar to an electric fence but stronger.

i did it when i was a kid you get a zap your finger turns black and painful and the out side of the cercet is has a mark, and you can never use it to plug any thing in. and it has a bad small you can see the yeallow spark, there you go. i was 10 years old at the time.

I knew a guy who stuck tweezers in an outlet at school! He got suspended and as far as I know he didnt get hurt, but he's to dumb to feel anything probably!

I have done it on accident and you get a strange tingling sensation all up your arm and your finger. It's kind of shocking actually.
