I'm a fan and most of my game is just like his....but I'm a natural lefty unlike him. But yes, it won't be long before he's going to catch up to Roger. He's only 20 and he's just peaking. It may not be this year but maybe in 2008 he'll really challenge Roger for the #1 spot. The other youngsters cannot really hurt him. Only the bigger guys older than him have beaten him like Blake, Federer and such are well getting older. Nadal's tactic is that he can wait. He can play longer rallies and it won't be long before it would be too easy for him to tire them out in the first or two sets and just roll over them in the remaining sets.

that's a long description.... first was the under-dog support, Rafa could have been #1 long ago if not because of Roger. i found myself ruling for the underdog team/player (not in this case, i am big Fed fan) second comes jealousy - the more praise Fed receive the more Rafa's fans fueled. i respect Rafa's effort and amazing physics to "muscle" his way to top spot, but seriously, i can't learn anything from him, his style is totally unorthodox, it is really not a pretty form. the fans who also play know what i am talking about. Roger on the other hand, every shot he makes is a textbook material. and funny thing is that, the more humble Roger is, the more critics he received, is this world gone mad??? Look, he not only a genius tennis player, he is also a great sports ambassador, just look at how many ESPY award he had won, i don't know what else to say. i guess eventually Rafa will be the top target to take down (if not already happening), so Roger's fan, don't be too upset as well.

Nadal is a great clay court player, but the best ever? Well, a dream matchup would be Guillermo Vilas in his prime versus Nadal in his prime. THAT would be the greatest of all clay court matchups. But right now, yeah, Nadal is the top dog. He should be the heavy favorite to win the French Open and every clay court tournament he enters. He hasn't lost on clay in over two freaking years!

im not a fan of nadal's, but since u said feel free to comment i will haha. so after watching this past week's tournament it appears that he has turned his game around after his loss in the auzy open. he could be the best clay court player ever. however in this era of tennis, one court prefrence does not work to a players advantage when it goes into the other seasons such as if u are a grass court player...it wont help to much when it comes time of year for the clay court season and the hard court season. but good luck to you and ur fellow nadal fans hope his season improves.

He is a great player. I think that he will give Federer a challenge at Wimbledon this year. He will win Roland Garros because he is the best clay court player ever.
I saw him play at the Aussie Open this year and he was totally awesome. I can not believe how hard he hits.

I like Nadal ! Only he should get rid of his bad habbit with his a**.
My favorite though is Federer for ATP and Justine foe WTA..
Federer is a complete player and wonderful modest character. Justine is no matter how short she is by tennis standard, she could play and won many slam and was nr. 1 for a long time.
