A lot of jobs now hire by online applications. If you come across a business that does that, just fill it out and make sure you add a good contact number, and be patient. You can also fill out applications in some stores, in which you should still pursue that also. No matter how you fill out an application, they will still call you for an interview in person. My prayers are with you.

There are some companies that will only accept applications online. I have been hired by a company that did that. I went to pay a utility bill online and clicked on the careers link and saw a position that interested me.
After about a couple of weeks, I got a call for a telephone interview. Afterwards, I visited the company and was offered a nice position.
It can happen.

I think you should always go into the place and get an application, it gives you the opportunity to make an impression before you even send in the application. The manager/supervisor can also put a face to a name, makes it much more personal and they will tend to remember you. However if they specify "on line application only" then you are best to stick to what they want. Good Luck!!

I applied online for a job at Pick'n Save. They just called me up and scheduled an interview.
I applied for walgreens, too, but the lady I talked to on the phone about how to apply said to go apply online, then call the manager of the store to tell him/her that you submitted an application. Because I guess sometimes they just don't see it right away or something.
Good luck!

Maybe I'm from the old school, but I was taught that face to face time speaks well for your initiative. But, I work for a large company and know full well that we turn away street traffic to our web site. But I would think those two that you mentioned would be best to show up.
Good for you and good luck!

In McDonalds case you can just walk right in and get it. On line apps are mostly for harder government jobs that require you to do it online.

Its best that u go to the actual location, if they see that you are making the effort to make the trip and show ur face it's giving them a great impression.
