I've heard jiffy before but that's probably b/c I live in the south too. Mostly, we call them convenience stores. Not very inventive.

Quiki-mart or ghetto-mart.

If I was talking to, say, my parents I would say the quicki-mart or the A-Plus (that's the name of the chain); most of the college students and the younger crowd around here would call it the ghetto-mart.

We used to call them 7/11's but that chain hasn't been in business around here in ages, so it kind of went out of use.

7-11, even if they're not. Or just by the name of the store. (Winner's Corner, Ballpark, etc)
