There was a player I belive his name was Craig Mctavish, who was on the St. Louis Blues. I have a $100.00 bet with a friend of mine that he was the last player to not wear a helmet on the ice. When the new helmet rule came into effect he was able to still play with out a helmet because the rule only went back for players who started to play a couple years back.

Absolutely it was Mac 'T' the last team he was with was the Blues. After all of those glorious years in an Edmonton jersey, does anyone else even remember he was with the Rangers, Flyers and Blues?
