My neighbors park in front of my house and then litter all over the place. I've gone over several times to talk to them about it. They said it was there kids friends and they would talk to them about it but they continue to litter in front of my house.
I don't care about the parking, it's the littering making my house look nasty. Legally What can I do? I live in Seattle WA.

you can get the city to put a "no littering sign" up at the citys expence and then report the wrong doers every time you catch them. that will hurt them in the wallet and it should cease. but then you can start a neighbor war. if it were me , and i usually do the WRONG thing, id tell them "ive respectfully asked you to restrain your litter and yet you still disrespect me, either clean up your trash or i will beat you f**kin a** capise?"
or id get my sniper kitty to do my dirty work. there are no laws for a cat commiting assult

In some areas, they have what is called "Zoning Officers", I have one, if a neighbor or someone you know is trashing your yard, they will fine whoever is littering and eventually the problem will go away.
If you do not have any zoning laws. Then you can go to your local municipal building. State your problem. And they will take matters by posting a "No Littering Sign". Make sure to tell them about your neighbors littering.

If you are really serious about stopping it, use a video camera and get it on tape while it is happening. Otherwise, it will be a case of "It was there when I parked". After capuring it on tape, call the police department and report it or take it to them for viewing. Having the license number of the car would be better also.

Contact the police and ask them what legal actions you can take.Then when the cops leave your house, just let them know that there is an ordinance against littering.The cops will know the code for the ordinance,just get it from them.No one like to get the cops into things but sometimes you have to take the bull by his horns to get his attention.Grab that Bull and get his attention,Good luck with those litter bugs....

Legal:
Video them in the act (along with their license) and give it to the police.
Other:
Collect all of the litter and take it over to your neighbor's front steps.

Well,You can go to the city and tell them about it but if it is just happened 1 or 2 times tell the neighborhood and they'll fix the problem!

Grab all the garbage they dump and put it in front of their house.
OoooOr,sick a garbage can out where they frequent and stick a lil sign on it sayin" A little respect..goes a long way".
