If the arrest warrant is not for a federal crime, you can probably fly out without being detected.
However, getting back in might become an issue.

A lot of it depends on the arrest warrant.. i.e. for what the warrant was issued, and if the warrant is issued in the state from which you are going to be leaving and returning.
Leaving the country with an active warrant opens you up to the possibility of a federal charge of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. This means that your name would show up in international databases. When you arrived at your destination, or went between countries, there is the possibility that you could be detained, identified, and then returned to the US.. (in custody).
The better course of action would be to contact an attorney, and seek his/her advice. If it is possible to have the warrant quashed and enter your appearance in the criminal matter, then the attorney can advise you. I think it unlikely, though, that the court will allow you to leave the country while there is an active criminal case against you.. if you are charged with a felony or serious misdemeanor, you will probably be ordered to surrender your passport.
You need to consult with an attorney who is licensed in your jurisdiction. For a referral, contact your local or state bar association.
