Nope, all the sperm are already well on their way through the cervix and passing urine has nothing to do with the cervix.
Now, if you are trying to get pregnant and your hubby has a decreased sperm count or motility problem then you probably should lie still for a few minutes just to make sure as many sperm as possible make it into the cervix.

how could that possibly decrease pegnancy. The semen goes in one hole and urine comes out a completely diffrent hole. One has nothing to do with the other. If you don't know that much, then maybe your best way to decrease the chance of pregnancy is absinence, atleast until you get educated.
Washing or urinating after sex will not stop semen and sperm that have already entered the uterus through the cervix. Additionally, some people believe that having sex in certain positions or laying a certain way after having intercourse, will force the sperm in or out of the woman's vagina. In truth, positions during and after sex have nothing to do with whether or not fertilization occurs. When a man ejaculates inside of a woman, the sperm are deposited well into the vagina. The sperm will, by nature, begin to move up through the cervical canal immediately after ejaculation.
The most important things you can do when trying to conceive is to make sure your body is healthy; if you are trying to conceive, it is recommended that you schedule an appointment with your clinician. S/he can help you identify ways to get your body ready for conceiving a baby.

Wow, I've read a lot of strange methods of attempting to prevent pregnancy, but this is a new one!
Go to the bathroom after having sex if you want to, but this is not a method of preventing pregnancy. You are aware, right, that spem does not go into the urethra (where you urinate from) during sex. Rather, it goes into the vagina/cervix. Surely, you know this, right?
If you don't want to get pregnant, you must use birth control each and every time.

No...there is no way to decrease the chances of pregnancy by going to the bathroom right after sex....the only way to decrease pregnancy is to use protection or to not have sex..once sperm is in there, its in there and there is no way to get it out....Good Luck!

Only a small amount falls out when you urinate afterwards, and it's the stuff that wasn't going to be very productive anyways. The good stuff is shot way up in you and will not come out. Even when I tried to get pregnant with my daughter I continued going to the bathroom immediately afterwards since OB's suggest it for sanitary reasons, and I got pregnant the first time we tried.

I don't know. I know that to increase your chances, you're supposed to lie on your back for 20-30 minutes afterwards. It helps the sperm go to where they need to be. I don't see why it wouldn't.
Having said that! I wouldn't reccomend it as a form of birth control! You'd still have a chance of getting pregnant. If you don't want to get pregnant, take birth control. If you don't want to do that, abstain from sex.

That in no way shape or form is a form of birth control. It doesn't even travel the same internal body parts.
