I'm just wondering if you should be able to feel any of your organs. I have a hard lumpish thing next to my left hip that I don't have on the other side. Sometimes it's easier to feel than others, but I'm just trying to figure out if it's just some organ or something else? I'm pretty thin, so I thought maybe I'm just feeling an organ? Maybe an ovary? Any help would be great.

Is being able to feel your colon common?

My guess is fecal matter in the colon is what you are feeling.

An overy is higher and in the back.

If the fecal matter is dense enough, yes. And on a thin person it would be easy to feel.

Do a search online for a picture of the internal organs of a female. Perhaps then you can pinpoint what you are feeling.
