I don't want to hire an attorney to draft the whole thing. I rather find a good drug testing policy template and then give the attorney to review it. That way it will be quicker (and I bet 90% cheaper). Any ideas where I can find a template corporate drug testing policy. Something reliable. I would not mind paying a little for a good template to start. I just can not pay $4-5k for the whole thing, we are small company.

Any of these sites offer policy templates. Check with your HR exec who may already be a member, since you need membership to access certain site features.

There are no regulations on drug testing nor any privacy issues. Offer your employees the chance to keep their jobs by paying $70 for the test which you can perform yourself by buying the kit at Walmart for just under $10 and with the balance of the funds set up a video camera in the bathroom. Some of the drug testing facilities in the larger cities take bribes lately.

From my research on the Internet, I understand laws and regulations differ in different States.

This link seems to provide a clear and organized template that you can customize for your needs:

I also found a pdf document that gives specific drug-policy info for businesses in Maine:

Unless you business is located in Maine, the first link would probably be of help to you.
