Of course, you have already written checks and will have some bounce. This happened in North Carolina. Should I go to the DA office, IRS or the hour wage and board. Please help me.

DA is a good start. It is also inexpensive (70-100 total cost) to file a small claims suit, and if you win, you are also reimbursed by the person you sued for those expenses. People at the county courthouse can walk you through the short process.

I suppose you should start at the DA's office, but I bet they're gonna send you to file a claim at the small claims office. Some folks are really lowlifes aren't they? I live in NC also...who is this guy so I don't ever so business with him ?

I would take a copy of the stub, and take it or send it to the local attorney general's office and explain it to them. They usually deal with jerks quite hastily and well.

give your boss all of your charges that you will get and he has to pay for even a copy of your statement and the charges from your debit or credit . if he dose not do that then report him.
