my mom loves me but she will not let me go hang out with my friends cuz she things something bad might happen and I know she just loves me but I am 17 my friends get to do things but I want my friends to come pick me up or go to there house.my mom is a good person but she needs to give me more freedom she is cool but I need some space she is cool but I'm 17 can anyone help me please.

I know its sounds rubbish, but have you sat your mum down and told her what you have posted on here? Is it because she doesnt like your friends or is it becuase she just has seen or heard of something bad that has happened?
I know its really tough, it took my parents ages before they would let me out, but nowadays we all have mobile phones etc and even if she drops you off and collects you from places you go surely that would be better. You are 17 and that just seems like she cannot let go, I am afraid that they must someday otherwise you are more likely to go behind her back. Perhaps make an arrangment with your friends to go to the cinema, tell your mum you want to go and suggest that she takes you and then collects you....slowly you will build trust! You have to try and talk with her, you are 17 and not far off being an adult, I mean really you are a young adult already. Good Luck xx
