you can't be serious, can you?

why would I want to take away my own guns?

I don't own a bible, nor do I want one, so why would I take bibles away from anyone?

chalk another one up for Karl Rove, huh?

This type of rhetoric has Rove written all it, you are correct. I think that some people come to believe this because that's what they are told by right wing pundits who spin and weave garbage like this to still try and perpetrate the myth that Republicans are the morally superior party. It doesn't say much about the intelligence level of those who buy this b.s. does it? I actually do know more Democrats who own firearms than Republicans. And darn if I can't reach the balance of my family, who are mostly Democrats, on Sunday morning because they are in church. Why aren't I there? Oops, I must be Godless right (and I'm not even a Democrat, but an Independent)? Nope, not Godless, just Deist.

Nope, although the second one might create an unprecedented wave of peace in the nation.
As for guns, if anyone would bother to read anymore (especially you, red staters) they'd find that the "Federalist Papers" gives a very good reason for the militia (i.e. the average joe who might have to defend his state.) Citizens need guns to protect against the standing Army, les it should think that martial law sounds like a good idea. Our Founding Fathers had it fresh in their minds that the government could be the criminal creeping into your bedroom at night.

Actually I meet secretly with liberal blues plotting how to get all the Bibles out of the hands of RedsStaters.

In fact that is all I do when I'm not aborting babies or walking down to the welfare office to get another check.

Look at this

All those people are plotting to take guns and bibles from RedsStaters.

Go big Red Go

I am not a republican democrat or independent .
I want Bibles treated like heroin . Anyone caught distributing them jailed for years and years and those people caught reading one put in rehab .
They will need mental health care from the information contained in this book . To believe God gave moses the ten commandments is silly .
If God existed and wanted the ten commandments known they would have been written on the surface of the moon for all to see for all time . From time to time he would dust of the commandments to remind people he existed .
You have got to pulling my leg if you think for a minute that an all powerful God would need to destroy two cities topple a tower and flood the planet to make a point .
This would have to be one of the stupidest Gods in the universe Not to be able to make himself known by an actual appearance once every 500 years . Some awe inspiring miracle like ending aides or stopping malaria springs with plenty of fresh water every few miles so no more drought and famine .
Instead he seems bent on torturing people and I can see how Bush came to the conclusion that we needed to use torture ourselfs to get what we want .

I am a Democrat and trust me I don't want your gun or your bible. I would prefer that you keep your bible and read it as I do mine. Keep your gun but use it responsibly.

Dems do want to take guns. Look at Feinstein's stupid bill in the 90's, look at the attempted legislation in San Fran about hand-guns, and you can see dems wanting to take guns.

as for bibles, the dems want to take the to read them (lol)

Remerber Dean's stupidity when asked what is favorite new testament book was....he said Job......what an a s s c l o w n.

I know for a fact they do not.

Conservatives however, DO want to take away ANYTHING that is not an accessory to right-wing propaganda.

(Sorry about the last question of yours I answered. Thought you were justifying some nutty right-wing hated.)

No. But the liberal wing of the Democrats do and they control the Party. It's not Carl Rove. It's the liberals who are shooting themselves in the foot.

The question was apparently posed by someone who has never lived in a city where Democrats did in fact attempt to take away their guns.
