here's the breakdown:
-depending on the line, you work for months on end STRAIGHT and then get a decent amount of time off. then the cycle repeats
-the pay is proportional to the job that you do. the harder you bust ur butt, the better you get tipped.
-the hours are very long ie. waiter in a.m., bartender all day, dinner waiter in the p.m., dance contest orchestrater in the late p.m.......then you do it all over again.
-a lot of times, foreign workers will get hired. the cruise ships like to have a wide array of people on the ships from an assortment of different cultures. not only that, many of the workers are looking for citizenship and they need this job for it.....aka there is stiff competition.

if u have gone to a good navy school and have a certificate,thats an advantage.if not then see someone u think knows people who work and cruise ship so that he connects u
