w00t is an expression of joy and excitement. Much like "Woo hoo!" for geeks :)

w00t was originally an acronym for "we owned other team" but used 1337$p34|< for some of the letters(w00t instead of woot). It is now commonly used as an interjection of joy. It is common in gaming :)

As stated previously w00t is an expession of joy just like woohoo. The 0's are added instead of o's cos it sounds more elite.

wOOt is term used to express joy and accomplishment. People usually say it when something good happens to them like a character leveling, defeating a foe, making a discovery, or etc. And because you asked this question, I'm assuming you're a noob(new to online games) so get used to it. I think sony has a site for online lingo; I can't remember what its called at the moment.
