I am 30 weeks pregnant and people keep telling me that I will be seeing my baby's elbow..etc poking around my belly. I never see anything, I feel him jabbing at me often throughout the day, he is not super active. When can I expect to SEE the movement people are talking about

I'm currently pregnant with baby three and really haven't seen an actual footprint on my belly. There are times when I am being hit and kicked or he just moves a certain way and I can put my hands on my belly and be able to tell what's his rear end, a foot, a leg, an arm. My belly does move alot but to watch it move, you can't tell what body part of the baby is making it move.

I think I didn't see those kind of movements until around 35 weeks. Now I see them all the time, but I am 39 weeks now. At first it was just once and a while, but obviously the less room the baby has in there, the more you see actual limbs. Thats all I see now, although I never know exactly which limb I am looking at. The baby's head is down, so it either has to be a foot or a knee I guess.
Anyway good luck. It could happen sooner for you!

well, i am 32 weeks now and my baby moves my entire body at times.
I started seeing physical movements on my belly at about 24 weeks I would guess. But, he is a very active little fella.
I have a little weight on me but not alot. I would assume it would be even more noticeable for a momma who is extremely thin.
If u have some weight in your belly, this may be why u arent seeing him visibly. However, sometimes i put my Tums bottle on my belly and can watch it roll and jump even when I am barely feeling my baby move. This could be what u can do in order to see it visually.
Good luck and congrats!!

A lot of that depends on how much weight you have gained with your pregnancy. I remember when my wife was pregnant with our daughter we started seeing peeks of elbows and feet sticking up at around 30 weeks. She had gained a lot of weight, 65 pounds at 42 weeks, and so we didn't see a hand or foot sticking out like in the pictures you see on the net, but we could definitely tell when she pushed outward with a body part.

Well hello again! Being 30 weeks too i was wondering the same thing, i hear about people seeing little footprints in their bellys & i havent seen them yet, sometimes when my boy is super active i see my whole belly shake/wobble from side to side when he moves but no obvious little body parts yet :-( I am sure it will come soon, until then i'll enjoy feeling the kicks in the ribs! xx

you may lay on your back with pillows behind you head and back and just stare at your belly. what I do is this sit on my couch and drink something sweet like apple juice and maybe push my belly to one side and the other until I get to see the movement. some times It helps to talk to your belly while sitting down

I think it depends on the position of the child. With my first one, I never saw anything, with my second one I saw bulges and things when he was pushing from about 30 weeks.
