You can not get your money back as basically worthless. sell it for 10 cents if can get it and take the tax loss. Don't speculate in a growing market where it is easy to make money !

Sorry, but as an equity holder your claim in the company is worthless. Debtholders will be soon in charege and you would probably not get a dime...
You should sell and offset any other short term gains that you generate this year. If you don't generate any, then you might be able to take a tax loss next year.
Good luck and

Long term would be the bankruptcy court , and
The return would be like the K Mart stock - $ 0.00 .
New Century is at $1.80 today and that is probably the top of its "future" .

unfortuneately you bought at the high, as I did with another stock but now im forced to hold because i Took a 75% loss, Sell NEWC now, and wait for it to test 50% of its initial run up or about 1.60~ then buy it at that (small position) if it goes up then get more if it doesnt you limited your loss. OCRI is in a good position to bounce up after getting slaughtered my yahoo messenger is Tamerlane_1360 @yahoo.com

Sell it now, and think about shorting more.
Sounds like a loser. Been there, done that, with Commodore computers, bought at $6, should have sold at $3, but kept it 'til it was absolutely worthless.
