Every decade, and especially now, we feel the need the touch again on the dance floor. We also seek art form and expression in peaceful manner.
It also satisfies a competitive urge when the eyes are on you and yr well choreographed talent on the dance floor.

The popularity of the t.v. show "Dancing With the Stars" has played a BIG part in the renewed popularity of ballroom dancing.

1) Dancing with the Stars on tv
2) Movies with dancing such as "Take the lead" and "Shall we Dance"
3) Changes in dance schools attitude about music- they used to dance to old stuff music, now they dance to modern stuff.
