Hi Happy,

I buy rechargeable batteries, cell phone accessories, computer parts, just all kinds of things.

Another thing I use eBay for is to determine the value of antiques. If someone is buying it for $100.00 you know that is what it is worth.

I don't sell much on eBay but a friend goes to garage sales at the end of the day & makes an offer for what's left. He takes it home sorts it out & sells it on eBay. He has been making so much money he is thinking about quitting his job and doing it full time.

I've bought CDs, books, a computer, my watch, a car tail light -- all for roughly half the downtown retail price. That's what eBay is good for: stuff that's basically uniform and "packaged."

Yes, you could buy shoes and clothes cheaply too -- but if you can't try them on, would you? Web buying doesn't work well with anything that has to be individualized.

Definitely something to keep in mind for anyone going into retail sales, right?

Kids toys mostly. Also: Books, DVD's, Craft Supplies, Pottery/Ceramic Supplies, Art...just about anything! Just search and check for 'ending soonest' & 'lowest price'.
