Dude I've had more viruses in the past than a dog has fleas. Use these three online scanners. If these scans don't detect a virus or trogan then you can bet you are flea, I mean virus free.

Ad-Aware and SpyBot are designed to catch spyware, not viruses, so you should consider them as additional protection for your computer, not a backup for your anti-virus.

As a backup to your anti-virus, I suggest you use an online scanner such as Trend Micro's. It will detect things that Norton won't, and vice versa.

Unless you're planning to get rid of Norton, I don't recommend that you download or buy an additional anti-virus program to install on your computer. Two a-v programs tend to drain resources, conflict with each other, and cause problems, unless you have one of them specifically configured to run one-off scans and turn off instead of running in the background all the time. (For that reason, an online scan is no problem because it IS a one-off scan.) Good luck!

Really the best thing to do is to get 2007 because even though you can get updates onlines to ensure sales they will not update you on everything that is out there. They want you to buy the new version so I would reccomend doing so...

You're about as well protected as you can be don't worry about the scare mongers Norton get most viruses and works well you're unlikely to get infected especially as you use spybot and ad-aware as well
