volume on the speakers, volume setting in windows, volume setting on the keyboard (if your keyboard has a volume/mute control). If you have musicmatch juke box be sure the volume is turned up in that.

I had a weird problem with musicmatch, if the volume in that application was turned down I didn't get any sound - even when musicmatch wasn't running. Musicmatch was purchased by Yahoo - if you have the yahoo music player it might have the same problem?

go to control panel check the settings from there , it can be mute from the computer settings, if Ur speakers are external once there must be a software to install,
follow the steps
start- control- panel- sounds settings -

double click the speaker icon in notification area under volume and wave controls make sure there's not a tick in the mute boxes
