I wasn't necessarily going to answer until I saw the additional explanation about being impotent due to a health condition, since I wasn't sure it was a legitimate question. I'm still not totally convinced that it is, though, but I[ll still answer. (The reason I'm not totally convinced it's legit is because there are other ways to satisfy a woman if a man's impotent, but I do agree that it would be a major sacrifice for a woman to never be able to have a living, breathing penis in her. Now, in response to your question, my opinion is that no, a wife who is being allowed by a caring husband to have extra-marital activity -play on the side- does not automatically make her a HOTWIFE.

What would make her a truly HOTWIFE, I think, is if she has some real passion when she is engaged in her on the side lovemaking, from the standpoint that she is able to free herself of any guilt/sadness/hangups that she might be expected to experience from not being able to have that same kind of passion with her husband and main partner in life.

From the same standpoint, it could make you a HOTHUSBAND in some womens' minds (but obviously no women that has posted in this forum yet) by your willingness to allow your wife this indulgence and not make her feel that she is hurting you by doing it.

Of course, the prudes out there will never get it, and they will be stuck in their small minded, judgmental world never realizing all of the things they have missed out on with their obnoxious attitudes.

Good luck to you, and I hope that the man who has become part of your relationship appreciates what he has and does right by both you and your wife. The variety that you have introduced into your relationship could actually be a very positive thing in terms of building on your relationship with your wife if everyone is cool enough and mature enough to handle it. It actually sounds like you are Proud of this name she was given. I guess if you don't care that she has a lover and you communicate with him, it must be ok in your eyes. That is all that matters. It sounds like non-sense, as neither partner should play on the side, even it is allowable behavior to the couple, it's still very a permiscous lifestyle. I would think she was a whore, as someone mentioned, or possibly the man is impotent, and lets her have this behavior to compensate for his short comings.
