Can you gain horse power by putting 305 small block chevy heads heads on a 350 if they will even fit?

350 heads have a combustion chamber size ranges from 64 to 76cc, and putting a set of these on your 305, will mean a huge compression drop and lost performance.Putting 305 heads on a 350 which are usually about 60cc will result in a higher compression but lower flow due to smaller valves and ports.

they fit but most have small ports and valves as well as large combustion chambers so no they won't help..
some real old ones would boost compression but the small valves still restrict your rpm

no you want 400 heads..or just bolt on headers for an addition 25 hp
