Those tests are pretty accurate. You could be under stress. If you are still concerned, make an appointment with your OBGYN and have them run some additional tests.
Good Luck.

Go to the doctors and get a blood pregnancy test done if you haven't already. They are more accurate. It is possible to still be having negatives though, some womens hcg rate are slightly lower than others, each woman is different. As long as the levels are doubluing as they should then its normal.
Other than that, you may have ovulated slightly later than usual, which would delay your period. Possible causes for this are stress, travelling etc, sort of things out of the norm for you which may confuse your body. Sometimes you even have an annovulatory cycle where you do not ovulate at all, which will mean a delay in your period too. It is quite common for women to have 1 or 2 of these in a year.
Best bet is to get a blood pregnancy test though. Good luck! x

That just happened to me this month. I was 7 days late, had taken about 4 pregnancy tests that all came back negative and thought my period was never going to come. I was convinced I was pregnant because my breasts hurt and I had a lot of other pregnancy symptoms. But lo and behold, my period came on the 9th day. I think I convinced myself I was pregnant and my body tricked me, or maybe I was just stressing about it way more than I thought. Stress is the biggest factor in a delayed period, besides pregnancy of course! If you still don't get your period in the next 5 days and have negative pregnancy tests, I would suggest calling your doctor.

yes, it has happened to me... probably every woman I know as well....
1) could be stress... you do not need to know you are stressed to have it affect you and your period... it stalls it out most times
2) you may have tested too early... six days after implantation.. not six days after sex.. standard is to wait 19 days after the last time you have had intercourse for the more accurate reads, if you have an irregular period or it is late.... even if you get it, if you suspect pregnancy take a test....
3) if you are around other women and yours is not established, is irregular already basically... it can and does change to match when they get theirs... all very odd sounding but interesting, our bodies communicate when physically close... if long periods of time are spent (ie, work, school, best friends) whoever has the "dominate" schedule the other person's monthly will change over the course of months to match... due to chemicals "speaking to each other"
there are other reasons...
a) if you are mid twenties it is rare... mid thirties to forties more likely, pre-menapause.....
b) very young still, first year... sometimes you can will go 33-44 days between because your monthly is not yet established
c) weight gain or loss.... almost any amount although standard is "excessive weight gain or loss" will stop a monthly or change it to where it is not monthly but one to six times a yr.....
thank you for taking time to read this
hope I have been able to help
good luck

Stress can cause your period to be late. If you are worried about not getting it, your period will either not come or continue to be late. Just relax, time will tell. You probably aren't pregnant unless you didn't take the test right. You can always go to a dollar store and get a cheap test to test again. Even though they are cheap, they are accurate.

Go to the doctor and have a blood test done. It reads your hormone levels better than urine. If that comes up negative then it could be something else like a bacterial infection, std, or something else female.
This happened to me before and I had a bacterial infection. Started taking antibiotics and my period started the day after.

Only a doctor can tell you for sure. There could be other issues as well. Stress, STD's and/or many other things could be a factor. There is also something called a chemical pregnancy where your body thinks it's pregnant but it's not. Give it another week, and go to to doctor if nothing has changed.

I understand, with my son I got 3 false negatives before I got a positive at about 8 weeks. I recommend you talk to your doctor.

Take another test. Just because you are late, that doesn't mean you have to be pregnant. I am late all the time and not pregnant.

Do you want to be pregnant? If so, you may be a victim of wishful thinking. But, home pregnancy tests are not doctors. Go see yours.
