Don't worry about the weather, wrap up warm she will love the zoo. I'm taking my 1 year old and three other children to Paignton Zoo on Saturday, I'm just going to put extra layers on. Your little girl will be so excited she won't bother about being cold!

Why don't you visit the Science Museum (South Kensington, on the District and the Piccadilly lines)?
The basement is all devoted to interactive stuff for pre-schoolers, including some wonderful water exhibits.
There are canals with locks to open and close, dams to move around and boats to float along currents -- and masses more.
The zone is called 'the Garden' though I don't know why -- it's all indoors. I've taken both my two there twice a year or more since they were two, and they love it.
Do take spare clothes for your daughter: there are plastic overalls but it's so much easier not to have to worry about her getting wet.
There's space to take a picnic, or the museum has places to eat (and there are loads of cafes and restaurants nearby).
The rest of the museum also has things that will fascinate her just because they look so amazing. Check out 'Launchpad', the zone for older children.
The museum is reached directly from the tube station, along a long pedestrian tunnel, so at least that keeps you out of the weather...
Oh, and entry is free (unless you decide to drop into one of the special exhibitions like the one on spying gadgets.)
Have fun tomorrow, wherever you go!

I personally would say that is too cold for a 2 year old to go to London Zoo and besides I have heard that it is not particularly good. The best zoo around is Colchester Zoo. You could take her to Madame Tussuad's but I would say she is too young for that even. Is there not an indoor adventure playground near you or in London. Whatever you decide enjoy your day.

She will love the zoo but if you find weather to cold madame Tussuad's is just 5 min round the corner from the zoo . She may be a bit to young to really enjoy it but you'll love it

Take her to the Rainforset Cafe in London. Great place for kids, great food for adults. Ive beent here many times with my friends (in our twenties) and we love it! It's beatuifully decorated, has lots of fun things for the kiddies to look at, and is also educational about the rainforest.
Their website is: www.rainforestcafe.co.uk
Its located on Shaftsbury Ave, so is only a very very short walk from Liecester Square tube station. well worth it!
Hope your little girl has a fantastic day out!
