I was on unemployment for a couple of months about 10 years ago. It was awful -- Even the worst day on the job is better than being idle (this was before the days of affordable home PCs). Of course, the point of unemployment is to get you through until you get another job, so I don't mean any offense to anyone who is on it -- For me, it just feels better to be working (and making more money than I got from unemployment benes).
Anna Dear: I'm sorry for your situation. Is there any way you can sneak into and proclaim yourself a resident of some Central American country, then jump back over the border? It'll be free health care for decades if you can manage it! (BTW, get a lawyer to help you with your SSD app. They are routinely turned down the first time, and you almost always have to appeal. But the good news is that the lump sum payment applies from the date you were disabled, which can make for a good payment (espeically if you owe medical bills). Good luck!

i'm often liberal on social themes yet I trust drug attempting out some welfare recipients - those receiving help for based little ones - with the exception that, if the state calls for it, the state would desire to pay for it. Welfare is a typical term that particularly covers different courses. those on welfare could be divided into 3 common training: little ones, disabled adults and the mentally challenged. those adults receiving help for based little ones are enrolled in state "artwork-fare" courses and are meant to get preparation and/or interest practise and be "artwork waiting". you at the instant are not "artwork waiting" once you're employing drugs. you at the instant are not a perfect and functioning discern once you're employing drugs. Use drugs and loose the two your little ones and your welfare tests. once you improve up and grow to be a in charge, functioning person, you're able to have the two your little ones and your welfare help back. those receiving unemployment and the rest you have blanketed on your question, have paid into the equipment they're deriving the advantages from. those receiving help to based little ones are youthful and have not contributed lots in terms of tax money and stay off the taxpayers' dime whilst they use. no one is assuming all welfare recipients use drugs. in the event that they're following this equipment set up by employing maximum states below the regulations of the federal 5 3 hundred and sixty 5 days shrink, they might desire to be too busy to apply drugs. yet for people who're employing, why not seize them and, a minimum of, provide their youngsters a raffle for a first rate life?

when I was on my own I had to get into govt subsidized housing and had food stamps for a year til I found a better job. but I have never gotten a check for welfare or unemployment....My dad had to get unemployment every winter b/c he works in road construction and had to feed and pay bills for a family of 6..not much road work being done in the winter in michigan..it has it's uses and helps out those who cannot work in the winterr months. Some people don't deserve it though and are lazy...I've always been trying my best to stay away from the govt agencies because they are really nosy..

I have recently become disabled and I'm pending Social Security Disability. I'll never see it, I'll be dead before I get any of it. It takes around 3 years to get help and I'll never last that long without medical treatment. But I guess that's what the govt wants, some of us to die off. I worked and paid taxes for 35 years.

I have too many jobs so I have went on strike. I think I am under paid and under respected for all the work I have done.
I plan on maybe going on corporate welfare because the checks are bigger.

No. And proud of it! My husband is in the National Guard full-time and I work part time.
And I expect anyone who would answer this question any other way would do best to either NOT answer, or face the nasty comments that will follow!!!
