A380........question?
The Airbus A380 just landed at LAX. It looked like a smooth landing, but in my opinion it look way to big to be up in the air at all regardless of tests. It WAY to huge!!

Why do they always want to push the limits and go "bigger," "More people." They want to start building Cruise ships bigger as well.

Isnt it better just to stick with what is proven safe?

Arent 747's plenty big and effeicient?

I noticed someone commented on it's landing at LAX- your right, as it did sort of skid or something looked funny.

Way too big. As of now there are only a handful of airports that can handle that plane. What happens if one gets into trouble when its nowhere near a place it can land?
Also that is too many people to risk on one flight. No matter how good a plane is-eventually one will crash. No model of plane is perfect, all models of planes have a crash. 500+ people gone in one crash...imagine. I think this plane would be great as a military cargo type plane, but for civilian use-i dont see the need in the risk.
Also, i didnt think the landing looked very graceful in my opinion. The plane kinda skidded a little.

It's called science and innovation. Without it, we'd all be in living in caves
