Do something you really enjoy. Also talk to someone you know cares and listens. Getting things off your chest always helps. Don't keep it inside. Thats never a good idea.

As soon as I realise it's going to be a bad day at work or in the home I get into 'Safe' mode. I brace myself to face the tough moments and don't try anything adventrous. I take an extra minute to check and recheck.
Things still get out of hand sometimes and there are embarassing moments for me.
When I am done I count my blessings and am not too worried about the losses.

Music & computer or hang out with friends.
Drink sometimes.

I went to a bar when I found out my grandma died.
Because my bf and I got in a fight that day, and he went to sleep in the other room. (It was late at night I had had no one.)

watch Lifetime, play on the computer, buy something, call someone, play with my pets, go somewhere, daydream, blast music & dance, eat chocolate, read a good book, or watch a funny movie!
