I got a bit of a SHOCK yesterday afternoon when opening my $468 phone bill from VERIZON. Apparently, they are now charging $3.25 PER MINUTE to Japan, so my 98 minute call cost $325, whereas it used to only cost $38...

Make that VERIZON $3.42 PER MINUTE to Japan, I just called them only to find out that if you're not on their special "international call" plan they f@ck you -- if you're on their plan it's only 10 CENTS A MINUTE !!!

OUTRAGEOUS !!!

That sucks. I would call and complain. Request to be put on their special plan and see if they can backdate it to cover that call at the reduced rate. If they refuse, request a supervisor and you'll probably at least get half credit...

I bet you were shocked. they have a roaming charge then they tack on a roaming and international roaming charge.
