I just got my nose pierced. The piercer told me to wait 3 months before changing it out, but I think that was for liability reasons. How soon can I safely change the screw? Also, is is easy to do?

your piercer was right. you do not want to change your nose screw before your piercing is fully healed. doing so too early will just damage your piercing and could cause numerous complications. the last thing that you want to do is aggravate a healing piercing.

I have my nose pierced and got it done about 2 years ago. If I were you don't use the piercings with the ball on the end because I cant change my piercing because the opening isn't big enough for the ball to go through. I have to go have it cut out but don't want to do it. So if you plan on changing your nose ring then use the hook ones! I love my piercing and i hope you do too!!
also changing it is easy.... but do it quick.. the newer it is... the faster it will try to close up. and I had to wait about 3 months also.. hope this helps!!

After my piercing, I couldn't change it for 6 months, because it was to tender. I think it varies with each person, so whenever your tenderness goes away, then it's healed.
FYI- DO NOT use the rings with the knob on the end! Your piercing might swell a little, and then it has to be cut out; also, after 1 year, I took out the nosering for 8 hours (work) and it closed up~ too painful to get re-pierced!
